PeopleSoft Reporting Series: PS Query Manager and XML Publisher

This reporting series includes three sequential one-day sessions. Each session can be taken separately or they can be taken together sequentially, depending on the experience-level and requirements of participants.

Session: PeopleSoft Query Manager Fundamentals (1 Day)

Focuses on making participants productive with the PeopleSoft Query Manager reporting tool. Participants will learn the fundamentals of Query Manager, including how to retrieve information from multiple tables, multiple ways to define criteria, use aggregate functions, and prompt users for data input for filtering results.

Records and Enrollment Series: Enrollment Backpack, Transfer Credit, Academic Maintenance

This series includes three one-day sessions. Each session can be taken separately or they can be taken together, depending on the requirements of participants. This series covers topics in Enrollment Backpack, Transfer Credit, and Academic Records Maintenance.

Session: Enrollment Backpack (1 Day)

Enrollment Backpack (EBP) is the general term, which describes the self-service enrollment related actions that can be performed. These activities are divided into four major areas: Search, Plan, Enroll and My Academics. EBP is an integration of enrollment and academic advising. In this session, participants will review the self-service options and practice performing actions in each of those areas.

In this workshop, the instructor will discuss the table structure, which needs to be completed prior to processing data for transfer students. Participants will review External Organizations and their Academic Structure containing subjects, courses, and terms. If a course catalog is created, it can be shared by multiple external organizations. Transfer Equivalency rules will be created and attached to the external organization. You can also attached equivalency rules to tests. Model scenarios are created and attached to academic programs and plans.
